Telescopes are the best way of connecting with the universe outside of becoming an astronaut and actually going there. They magnify the wonders of the skies so that you can see things that would be impossible normally, and enhance the detail of the things that you can see with the naked eye.

The Celestron CPC 1100 does an amazing job of bringing those wonders to your room. It is an extremely high quality telescope that is meant for the serious observer. The price is prohibitive to the casual hobbyist. The manufacturer, Celestron, is based in Southern California. They are world renowned for their high tech telescopes. Today, they supply many of the United States’ top retailers with their products. This particular Celestron is one of their high end products. It is not one of their most compact and portable models, but it entirely makes up for it in other ways.

Price and Features

The cost of the marvelous telescope is $2,999.00.  That is not an amount that a hobbyist would want to spend, but if you are serious about it, the telescope has lots of features to make the price worth it, such as:

Who is it for?

Because of the cost, this telescope is not for everyone.  It also requires some knowledge and familiarity with computers to operate.
